As you might imagine now is the time things ramp up. You will begin receiving regular emails from the booster club with details and links for upcoming events. We are very excited to get this season started and have been working throughout the summer to get everything ready for these kids to compete! LET'S GO WOOD!

There is a lot of important information, please read the WHOLE thing.

• AUG 12(Today) - RRISD VOLUNTEER APPLICATION OPENS
  • The RRISD volunteer application is open. This is required every year for anyone that wants to volunteer at the school or a school event for any reason. Please complete the application early, especially if you want to volunteer to be a driver for the retreat.
• AUG 22 - PRACTICE STARTS
  • Coach will discuss details with the athletes during school. Please make sure to sign up for Coach's Remind. This is how he will communicate with the athletes and parents.
• AUG 23 - MANDATORY PARENT MEETING
  • This mandatory meeting is August 23 @ 600p in the Westwood War Room.  A previous email said 630, please note the time change. This meeting is required by Coach McBrearty to discuss rules and expectations for the season. At least one parent/guardian from every family is required to attend. Athletes do not to be there. There has been a ton of construction to this area of the school. We will try to hang signs and/or be outside to guide you. To park, turn into the school parking lot along Lake Creek and park in front of the field house. The entrance is a single door to the left of the main field house entrance. Park where you can. 
• SEPT 3 - TEAM RETREAT TO NEWK'S RANCH
  • This is a required event for everyone on the team, swimmers, divers and managers. Newk's Ranch is a ropes and team building camp located in New Braunfels. Parent volunteers will drive the athletes to and from the event. Please sign up to be a driver. Please remember that you must complete the RRISD volunteer application in order to be involved. Additionally, each participant needs to complete a release. Please bring the release to the mandatory parent meeting so we can collect them in advance.
• SEPT 6 - FIRST BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
  • This is the first monthly booster club of the season. These meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 630p in Coach's classroom. While not required, it is highly recommended that at least one parent attend each meeting as details for the upcoming month's meets and events will be discussed. Our first meet is September 14 and we will go over travel and meal details at that time.
