Please note that start and end times are subject to change. 

  • We are hosting the "wet" side, please sign up here for a volunteer role that is specific to WW and we are required to fill.
  • Athletes please wear your grey team dry-fit shirt and be at Westwood at 6:30am. Breakfast will be provided and you will ride the bus there and back.
  • Meet starts at 9 am.
  • Entry fees will be charged for all who aren't volunteering. $8/adults and $4/ children

Team Tradition - pictures at the Arboretum by the Cows, carpool to BJs for dinner and post-dinner "party" after. Please see emails from the board for addresses.  

Arboretum Cows | 5:00 to 6:00 pm 
BJ's @ Shops at Arbor Walk | 6:30 to 8:30 pm 
After "party" - see email for details.  

Parents are welcome to stay and take pictures at the Arboretum. Kids will go to dinner on their own and carpool to the after party. Plan to pick your swimmer up around 10:00 if they cannot drive.

  • Everyone is excused for the entire day. Coach McBrearty will communicate that with school administration. It is your athlete's responsibility to coordinate with their teachers for any work they miss.
  • Everyone needs to be at the school at 7:30am to leave on the bus and breakfast will be provided.
  • If you plan on attending, Aquatic Center is on the Cedar Ridge High School campus (2801 Gattis School Rd, Round Rock, TX 78664) and there will be an entry fee of $5 per person with concessions provided also.
  • We do need to provide 2 timers so please consider that when coming and they call for timers.
  • Warm up is at 8:50am.
  • Both swim and diving starts at 10am.
  • Projected meet end time is 1:45pm
  • There will be lunch served around 11:30 am. Water and snacks will also be provided.
  • Everyone needs to wear their team gear including their GREY DRY-FIT TEAM SHIRT, team suit, team cap and team bag.
  • Everyone will ride back to the school on the bus. Please pay attention to your Remind app to know when to be at the school to pick up your athlete.

Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally

Parade starts at 6:00 pm. Please have your swimmer watch for REMIND/texts from the Captains on meet-up time at the float.

PARENTS: traditionally, swim parents wear their team swim shirt and meet at the Anderson Mill pool to cheer on our swimmers. See you there!

After the parade, swimmers will attend the Pep Rally at The Warrior Bowl.

NEWK'S TEAM RETREAT *MANDATORY*
Newk's Ranch - 325 Mission Valley Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78132

End: 7:30 PM (estimated)

All day team building event. Wear your 2025-2026 Team T-shirt , shorts, and athletic shoes/socks.

Meet at Westwood parking lot in front of the gym entrance BY 6:45am.

We will arrive back at Westwood at about 5:45pm. Coach will send an announcement with a more accurate time when they leave the ranch. Please pay attention to the announcements and ARRIVE ON TIME TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD so the coaches can get home to their families.

DIRECTIONS

**Some of the apps direct you to T Bar M as there is a connecting road between the 2 properties – however, there is a locked gate that won’t allow you to enter our side, so make sure to go to Mission Valley Road and do not enter into T Bar M!

  • Hwy 35 South to New Braunfels (Approximately 45 miles south of Austin)
  • Exit #189 (Seguin/New Braunfels)
  • Turn right at stop light - you will then be going west on Loop 337
  • Go 5 miles on Loop 337 until you come to the Hwy 46 exit - Take that exit and turn right at stop light
  • Go about 2 miles on Hwy 46 and you will see a big water tower on your left that says "Newks Resort"
  • Turn left at the tower (Mission Valley Road) and stay on that road about 1/2 mile
  • The entrance will be the 2nd set of buildings on the left. The Main Lodge is by the parking lot.( The 1st complex on the left is our Tennis Academy )
